Manford launches the MV-Plus 5-axis platform — a new mid-size machining center engineered specifically for titanium aerospace structural parts.
Today Manford announces the MV-Plus 5-axis machining center series — our most rigid mid-size 5-axis platform to date, engineered specifically for the challenges of aerospace structural part machining.
Key specifications of the new MV-Plus series include:
• HSK-A63 / HSK-A100 spindle options up to 18,000 rpm
• Linear scales standard on all five axes
• Through-spindle coolant up to 70 bar
• Renishaw probing and tool measurement as standard
• Available with full robotic loading interface
"The MV-Plus represents three years of structural engineering focused on the dynamic stability that titanium machining demands," said our Director of Engineering. "Customer trial cuts have confirmed cycle time improvements of 30–40% versus the previous generation."
The MV-Plus series will make its global debut at TIMTOS 2026 next month, with commercial availability beginning Q2 2026.
